In 2002, Gilbert and Marie-Laurence Pierre decided to open Bistro Creole Restaurant & Catering, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Bistro Creole focused on Haitian and other Caribbean food, culture, and events. A few years later, they realized that a choice had to be made between family life and the restaurant. Needless to say, they chose family. In 2006, they closed the restaurant, expanded the catering & events side of the business, and A Culinary Affair was born.

A Culinary Affair (ACA) specializes in creating memorable events through culinary excellence, impeccable service, and artistic decor. We deliver one-of-a-kind events that create story-book memeories. We research, design, coordinate, and evaluate all elements contributing to a "five-star" celebration.
